Kasmo Industry Nigeria Limited was Established in 1977 in Ilorin, Kwara State with the production of kasmo Medicated Soap, Kasmo Bar Soap, Kasmo Super Bleach, Kasmo Sulphuric and Kasmo Roseline Promade. The Company was formally registered and incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission on the 19th October 1979 with registration number RC 304541. Relocated to Osogbo, Osun State in 1991 and presently Chairman, KASMO Industry Nig. Ltd. Alhaji (Chief) Gazail Olasunkade Owolabi situated at No. 38 Kasmo Crescent, Oke-Baale, off Ibokun Road, Osun State
The Company has board of directors, management team and other rank and file that see to the day-to-day running of the business. The Company is headed by the Founder- Alhaji (Chief) Gazail Olasunkade Owolabi- who doubles as the Chairman as well as the Chief Executive Officer. The daily running and supervision of the business is being handled by the Managing Director-Mr. Kazeem K. Mohammed-Gazal.
The daily job execution and implementation of the company policies are carried out with over One Hundred and twenty (120) work-force comprises of professional, graduates, school leavers and artisans. The Company is Stratified into four (4) major department with other units these include: I Administration/Finance, 2-Production/Factory, 3-Sales/Distribution, and 4- maintenance/Technical.
The Company finished products are being marketed through direct sales (Sales Representatives) and indirect sales (Distributorship chain).
The Objective of the Company is to produce products that meet international standard at the lowest cost for the consumption of all and sundry.
The Mission of the Company is to produce high quality range of cosmetic products, generate job opportunities and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the country.
While KASMO MEDICATED SOAP has remained the flagship and mainstream of the company productions, in her effort to capture more of the soap industry; the company has introduced to the market new range of soaps, Kasmo Multipurpose Soap (Kasmo Multy) and Kasmo Pure Black Soap.
The management is not resting on its oars in introducing more friendly at an affordable prices at the populace.
In 2017, the company in partnership with GEMS4 and the State Government of Osun empowered the rural women in the state that specializes in the production of African Black Soap. This was done through large scale procurement, quality packaging and branding. The Company as a bastion of entrepreneurship has also diversified into the travel, building and electronics sectors of the economy.
